Crushed / Consumed

RE. the latest Overcompensating.com: I have to say that I cannot disagree with Jeffery Rowland’s reasoning.
Also, from the gaping maw of a coworker earlier today:
‘I had an omelette that was just too big yesterday.’
Who says things like that? Plus, the bloke who said it was a giant chunky bastard, which leaves me to wonder — what constitutes ‘just too big’ for him? An omelette four feet in diameter, perhaps? The mind boggles..
More updates at a later date. Right now I’m in the midst of a flurry of Emails, and I’ve just downloaded the first three episodes of ‘Dexter’, which I hear is rather interesting

I watched the trailer. Isn’t that a bit gorey for you? Perhaps I’ve misunderstood your predilections.
In any case, looks to be a bit of a bloody vigilante vengeance thing, eh? Guilty pleasure, I’m sure. Let me know how it is.

Too gory for me?? You’re probably mistaking me for Derek — if it has to do with serial killers, and if it’s well-done (and if I have the time to give it a look-in), I’m interested. About a fifth of the books in my library are about serial killers and mass murderers, as I find those sorts of individuals fascinating. I haven’t done as much ‘research’ as I used to a decade ago, when I was really into them, but something like ‘Dexter’ is right up my darkened alley..
As a show, it’s okay! I might well spit out a mini-review here in the next week or so.
