Do bid them welcome

If you’ll be so kind as to stare at the ‘Colleagues & co-conspirators’ family of links in the sidebar, you might notice there’s a couple of new additions:

Goshou World, which replaces his dusty old Livejournal, would be, ah, goshou’s world, detailing various things such as his forays playing World of Warcraft, for instance. He has no mission statement, so your guess is as good as mine as to what the hell he’ll be writing about.

LiannArt is maintained by goshou’s wife Steph, and will (eventually) feature notes and photos from their trip to Japan last year, as well as bead-related jewelry she makes for sale, her growing doujinshi collection, and, ah, her forays playing World of Warcraft.

Lastly, we have Alastor’s Reflection, writ by fellow iDollator PB Shelley. Apart from being a journal of his life and interests, he offers a unique perspective on a passel of topics ranging from his writings, the arts, music, anime, and living with RealDolls. Nothing about World of Warcraft, although that may change.

So there you have it! Give their sites a look-in, and welcome them into your homes, and into your lives. And into your pants!

*points at sidebar* I’m easy. Easy like Sunday morning. 🙂

I must admit; the first time I saw the name of your blog, I thought it was ‘seeingablog’, as in, ‘I’m seeing a blog. We’ve been dating for about a year, and apart from the constant updates and patches, it’s been great.’

Greetings, DC & adorable companion Sidore-chan,

Thanks for the mention, and oh-so-prominent! I’m honored, thank ye 🙂

It probably is a bit of a tad boring (which is better than being a full-on tad), but what can I say? Not much going on, except that I have been watching a bunch of anime lately, having deprived myself these past few months. (I’m doing Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai now.) Since I’m just playing the waiting game wrt the novel, that’s what I’ll likely be blabbing about, for the most part. But variety is spicy, and all that 😛

BTW, I just put up a lovely Kanon klip I came across, featuring an extended version of the Opening theme 😉 No giant robots or explosions (sorry), just some magical and romantic imagery involving beautiful but sad girls in the snow, and one guy who can’t (or refuses to) remember them…

I really ought to post more; perhaps I’ll learn by your example and Become a Better Blogger 😀

Actually, I’m doing it all for Lily-chan 🙂

Regards, and let me know whether you’d like to be added to my as-yet-nonexistent Blogroll, which I do intend to add to one of these days!

Talk is amazingly cheap these days, innit? 😛

    Regards and arigato,

PBS and les mademoiselles silicones –
Ahem. Learning by my example will certainly not make you become a better blogger. It might help you develop new and creative excuses for not blogging, then waiting a couple of weeks and throwing up a couple of half-assed posts as to why you’ve not blogged, but that’ll undoubtedly be all you glean from my churlish exacmple. I mean, example.

So you’ve been awash in anime lately? Moreso than usual? Glad to hear it! I’ve been downloading so much stuff it’s not even true, although I’m using my flu-enforced downtime to catch up on stuff, like Gundam 00 and Devil may cry. You seem to be enthralled by all the shoujo stuff, and that’s one of the many fab things about anime — there’s something for everyone. EVERYONE!

Dude, just go ahead and add ‘Shouting etc etc’ to your blogroll. You don’t need to stand on tradition! Unless you find it more comfortable than sitting on tradition! yuk yuk yuk

And don’t let Lily know that you’re undertaking such vast… undertakings… on her behalf! It’s cool that she’s who you’re doing it for, but never let your Doll know that. Cos the minute you stop updating on a regular basis, she’ll never let you hear the end of it!…

Hah! This is one of the better blogs I’ve seen (not that I visit very many) and always entertaining. Now if I can manage to do half as well and not bore my visitors to tears, I’ll be a happy fellow. Plus, if I do take a few weeks off I can say, well DC did it so… it’s okay 🙂

Heh -anything for a break LOL

The reason I’ve gotten so into anime lately is due to missing it for awhile, so just doing a little catching up. Lost 35 gigs of it on the ex-PC. As for the shoujo material, normally I’m not all that into the “romance” genre; in fact, it usually bores me LOL As far as tastes go, I’m much more of an Elfen Lied kinda guy. Not a big “chick-flick” fan, which is why Air and Kanon took me so completely by surprise.

The STORY is what matters most to me, and both of these have enough fantasy elements coexisting with the everyday slice-of-life material that they were very involving. And more importantly, they touched me so deeply that they literally took my breath away in parts, even if just for an instant. And that’s exactly how much I wanted to reach (grasp?) the reader of Lily’s story, and in that way; these resonate in the same manner as with Lily’s tale: fantasy/slice-o’-life/the super-natural, and a love supreme (to coin John Coltrane). That’s why they mean so much; they’re like in the same, deep, emotional vein. Which is cool 🙂

I wanted to write something unique, and hadn’t found anything close to it until I saw these two series. So you might say I’m jazzed LOL

OK, who said “obsessed”??? I heard that!

Thanks for the permission, too; I did want to get it before assuming all was okay with adding “Shouting” to the Blogroll. I think you mentioned about doing that first *points up* 😀

That’ll be the next project, after I figure out how to use thumbnails instead of those humongous pics that screw up my layout *blush*

I’m afraid that it’s too late to keep Lily in the dark about all this though! (*whispers* She’s right over there, watching me! Sshhh!) *coughs loudly* Ahem! Well, then I’ll be off! What, yes, Lily, I did update it and today! Ah-haha! Your feet need rubbing? Oh dear… Well, it looks like I have some unfinished business to attend to, so I’ll say avoir for now!

    “Avoir for now!”
